Treatment of symptomatic heart failure.

Reduction of risk of cardiac events in patients with a history of myocardial infarction and/or revascularisation.

PERINDOPRIL ERBUMINE (perindopril erbumine) is indicated for: • Hypertension o The treatment of mild to moderate essential hypertension. It may be used alone or in association with other drugs, particularly thiazide diuretics. o The safety and efficacy of PERINDOPRIL ERBUMINE in renovascular hypertension have not been established and therefore, its use in this condition is not recommended.
o The safety and efficacy of concurrent use of PERINDOPRIL ERBUMINE with antihypertensive agents, other than amlodipine and thiazide diuretics, have not been established. • Congestive Heart Failure o The treatment of mild to moderate congestive heart failure, generally as adjunctive therapy to diuretics, and where appropriate a digitalis glycoside.
Treatment should be initiated under close medical supervision. The safety and efficacy of PERINDOPRIL ERBUMINE have not been demonstrated for New York Heart Association Category IV patients. • Hypertensive and/or post-MI patients with stable coronary artery disease.
