ONCASPAR (pegaspargase) is indicated as: • A component of a multi-agent chemotherapeutic regimen for the treatment of patients with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL). 1 Pediatrics Pediatrics (< 18 years of age): Based on the data submitted and reviewed by Health Canada, the safety and efficacy of ONCASPAR in pediatric patients has been evaluated (see 14 CLINICAL TRIALS).
The safety and efficacy of ONCASPAR in children < 1 year of age are very limited. 2 Geriatrics There are limited data available for patients older than 65 years.
