Indications have been granted on the basis of similarity between YESAFILI and the reference biologic drug EYLEA®. 1 Pediatrics Pediatrics (< 18 years of age): Based on the data submitted and reviewed by Health Canada, the safety and effectiveness of YESAFILI in pediatric patients have not been established; therefore, Health Canada has not authorized an indication for pediatric use.
2 Geriatrics Geriatrics (≥ 65 years of age): Clinical studies of YESAFILI include participants 65 years of age and older. No clinically significant differences in efficacy or safety were seen with increasing age in these studies.
