34 JAMP Prasugrel Product Monograph Page 3 of 36 PrJAMP Prasugrel Prasugrel (as prasugrel hydrochloride) PART I: HEALTH PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION SUMMARY PRODUCT INFORMATION Route of Administration Dosage Form / Strength All Nonmedicinal Ingredients Oral Tablet, 10 mg Mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, sodium stearyl fumarate, hydroxypropyl cellulose hypromellose, triacetin, titanium dioxide, red iron oxide and yellow iron oxide.
INDICATIONS AND CLINICAL USE JAMP Prasugrel (prasugrel hydrochloride), co-administered with acetylsalicylic acid (ASA), is indicated for the early and long-term secondary prevention of atherothrombotic events in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) as follows: unstable angina (UA) or non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) managed with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) managed with primary or delayed PCI.
