1 INDICATIONS AND USAGE SOLOSEC ® is a nitroimidazole antimicrobial indicated for: Treatment of bacterial vaginosis in female patients 12 years of age and older. 1 ) Treatment of trichomoniasis in patients 12 years of age and older.
2 ) To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of SOLOSEC and other antibacterial drugs, SOLOSEC should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by bacteria.
