CARBOLITH (lithium carbonate) is indicated in: • the treatment of manic episodes of manic-depressive illness. Maintenance therapy has been found to be useful in preventing or diminishing the frequency of subsequent relapses in bipolar manic-depressive patients (with a history of mania).
