AA-LEVOCARB CR (levodopa and carbidopa controlled-release tablets) is indicated for the treatment of Parkinson's disease. AA-LEVOCARB CR is not recommended for the treatment of drug-induced extrapyramidal reactions. 1 Pediatrics Pediatrics (< 18 years of age): The safety and efficacy of AA-LEVOCARB CR in pediatric patients has not been established; therefore, Health Canada has not authorized an indication for pediatric use.
