Uses
HyQvia is indicated for: • replacement therapy for primary humoral immunodeficiency (PI) and secondary humoral immunodeficiency (SI) in adult and pediatric patients 2 years of age or older. • chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) as maintenance therapy after stabilization with intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) to prevent relapse of neuromuscular disability and impairment in adults.
1 Pediatrics Primary and Secondary Humoral Immunodeficiencies Pediatrics (2 to < 18 years): Based on the data submitted and reviewed by Health Canada, the safety and efficacy of HyQvia in pediatric patients has been established. Therefore, Health Canada has authorized this indication for pediatric use.
