Uses
VYXEOS® (daunorubicin and cytarabine liposome for injection) is indicated for: • treatment of adults with newly diagnosed therapy-related acute myeloid leukemia (t-AML) or AML with myelodysplasia-related changes (AML-MRC). 1 Pediatrics Pediatrics (< 18 years): Newly Diagnosed t-AML or AML-MRC: The safety and effectiveness of VYXEOS in the treatment of newly diagnosed t-AML or AML-MRC has not been established in children and adolescent patients under 18 years of age.
2 Geriatrics Geriatrics (≥ 65 years of age): Evidence from clinical studies experience suggests there is no significant difference in the safety of VYXEOS in patients aged 65 or older. 4 Special Populations – Geriatrics].
