ALUNBRIG (brigatinib) is indicated: as a monotherapy for the first line treatment of adult patients with anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK)-positive locally advanced (not amenable to curative therapy) or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
as a monotherapy for the treatment of adult patients with anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK)-positive metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have progressed on or who were intolerant to an ALK inhibitor (crizotinib). 1 Pediatrics Pediatrics (< 18 years of age): No pediatric data have been made available to Health Canada; therefore, Health Canada has not approved an indication for pediatric use.
2 Geriatrics Geriatrics (≥ 65 years of age): Of the 359 patients treated with ALUNBRIG in the pivotal trials, 27% were 65 years of age and older. Increased age was associated with an increased risk of early pulmonary adverse reactions.
There are limited data on the safety and efficacy of ALUNBRIG in patients aged 65 years and older. A dose adjustment is not required i n elderly patients. There are no available data on patients over 85 years of age. )
