Uses
Olbetam is indicated as alternative or adjunct treatment to reduce triglyceride levels in patients who have not responded adequately to other treatments such as statin or fibrate treatment for: • hypertriglyceridaemia (Fredrickson type IV hyperlipoproteinaemia); • hypercholesterolaemia and hypertriglyceridaemia (Fredrickson type IIB hyperlipoproteinaemia).
